Happy Easter (day 29)

Stephen was the only cousin young enough to still search for eggs. So we hid like 10 eggs and everyone went out to watch him and take pictures. :-) It was cute. Here is the typical "Easter egg hunt" picture :-)

This is what happens whenever we start acting like we're going to go somewhere. She runs to the door and sits RIGHT in front of it so that we can't get out without her. :-)

A Welcome Sight (day 26)

I drove all the way to SIUE to get the cow for Into the Woods and managed to get lost like 5 times. So when I finally made it back to St. Louis I was so happy to be back that I took a pic :-)

A New Addition (day 25)

Andrew and I got a bug. We had to drive all the way to St. Clair to pic it up. It's a 1973 Super Bettle. Andrew's going to fix it up and then we'll have an awesome car :-) It's not in too bad of shape. We're hoping to have it up and running before the summer is over.

So Holly isn't here tonight. She had to go to Grandma's while we were at DaySpring. But we miss her lots! We almost drove to St. Charles at 11:30 pm to go get her cause we missed her so much. So here is a pic of the corner where her kennel should be. But it's not.

First Haircut (day 19)

I gave my dog a haircut today. It took me a good 4 hours or so... but it was my first time...and she actually looks better than some cuts we've gotten from groomers in the past.

Holly was in the back window and Avery's side window was open...I looked up into my rearview mirror and this is what I saw! I had to take a pic! :-)

Julia came into backstage class today and I decided that she was going to be my pic of the day. I ended up doing a tiny photo shoot while my students cleaned up. The rest of those pics are on my facebook page. (this pic got a little washed out in the upload :-P)

A desperately needed manicure (day 14)

I was never a nail girl but I got into the habit of having painted nails when I got engaged and people wanted to see my hands all the time. I switched to doing it myself when I got married (as opposed to going and getting it done). I have been so busy and stressed out and had nasty nails from that stupid dye and haven't had nice nails in about a month. So I finally had a lazy day and I did my nails...call me girly but I feel much better now :-)

First Sign of Spring (day 4)

This little crocus has popped up in our front yard, not near any kind of garden but on the border of our yard and our neighbor. I noticed it the other day and decided it was a good subject for today.

Joe was patiently waiting for me to notice him and give him a job...granted he was waiting above my eye level...probably hoping I'd never notice him :-)

Salt Addiction (day 2)

So we dyed a lot of costumes. It took a lot of salt. We look like we have some sort of strange salt addiction. :-)

Raja (Day 1)

I have other (and I think, better) pictures from today. But this is the one that had a story. This is Raja the male Asian elephant at the St. Louis Zoo. I remember going to the zoo to see Raja when he was just born. Ever since then (I was like 6) I have made it a point to see Raja every time we went to the zoo. So here is Raja, my baby elephant, all grown up and with his own kid now! :-)

Ok so Blogger/the Rep's internet connection won't let me upload my photo...I'll put it up here when I get home but it's gonna be after midnight cause I'm stuck here until midnight. :-P Way to fail on the first day! Oh well!

The Challenge!

So I have decided to take at least one picture each day for a month and post it here. This picture can be of anything that strikes me in a day. It might be my husband, Andrew, or my puppy, Holly (the chances are great for this one :-) ), it might be a detail shot of my life that day, or it might be a person who struck me as interesting. Your guess is as good as mine. Check back each day or every few days. The goal is to post the photo before midnight each night.
